The content of the following files are displayed:

2. Change Authentication Password

Change WPA

The user is able to change the wpa_passphrase, the password needed to login to the WIFI network.

The wpa_passphrase is declared in file /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf, the line containing wpa_passphrase= .

Initally the password is test1234, but it can be changed by the user.

Note1: After this change the user should re authenticate to the Wifi network.

Note2: In case Windows PC is not able to attach after password change, please use below workaround:

1. On Windows PC tap or click to open Network Connections.

2. Press and hold or right-click the network name, and then tap or click Status.

3. Tap or click Wireless Properties, and then tap or click the Security tab.

4. Select the Show characters check box. Administrator permission required. You might be asked for an admin password or to confirm your choice.

3. Change SSID

Change SSID

The user is able to change the network identifier=SSID - a case sensitive, 32 alphanumeric character unique identifier

attached to the header of packets sent over a wireless local-area network (WLAN).

Initally the SSID is iblocker_VPN or similar, but it can be changed by the user.

The SSID is declared in file /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf, the line containing ssid= .

Note: After this change the user should re authenticate to the new Wifi network.
